Aku.Ceramics

Aku.Ceramics founder Agata is a potter, maker, designer, artist and craftswoman based in Edinburgh.

She makes functional tableware using a combination of new and recycled clays coated in simply coloured glazes. She keeps her pieces simple - the form is as much important as the glaze. She enjoys muted, natural and organic colours and textures. 

Everything is made by hand, which means every piece can be slightly different from the others in shape and colour. This is what makes handmade ceramics very special.
