Gepard Woolia

Woolia is a new yarn, spun from lamb's and sheep's wool of an original Italian breed, called Merino Gentile.
This breed lives in a small local area around Puglia, Italy, where it is bred following the most sustainable practices. 
The sheep breeders source the wool themselves and sell it directly to Gepard's spinning mill. This way, the farmer gets a better price for the wool, and the product can be traced down to the individual flock.

Woolia is soft and durable. Perfect for cables or Fair Isle knitting.
The first time you feel the wool, you may find it a little dry. This is typical of this kind of merino and that is also what makes it super light and makes garments knitted with it keep their shape.

Recommended needle size: 4.00 mm - 6.00 mm 

• 4.00mm - 4.50mm needles suitable for men's knitwear, cushions, and solid knitwear
• 5.00mm - 5.50mm needles for all types of sweaters
• 6.00mm needles for shawls and loose knits.

Gauge: 15-20 sts in 10 X 10 cm depending on the needle size

When combined with Mohair, Woolia can be knitted on 5.00mm - 6.00mm needles.
