Isager Alpaca 2

Isager Alpaca 2 is a two-ply yarn that contains 50% wool and 50% Alpaca. It is characterized by being soft, and it is very suitable for baby clothes. 

Knitted alone, it is beautiful in a cardigan, but you must be aware that it is best suited for clothes that are not exposed to much wear and tear. A soft yarn will never be as strong as a yarn spun in a harder quality and perhaps even spun firmer. On the other hand, the yarn is very fine for scarves and when knitted together with other qualities it creates beautiful drapes and fabrics.

Alpaca 2 alone: 3 mm = 26 sts x 30 rows in 10 x 10 cm
Alpaca 2 + Alpaca 1: 3 mm = 24 sts x 28 rows in 10 x 10 cm
Alpaca 2 + Alpaca 2: 3.5 mm = 20 sts x 26 rows in 10 x 10 cm
Alpaca 2 + Silk Mohair: 4 mm = 18 sts x 24 rows in 10 x 10 cm
