Isager Aran Tweed

Isager Aran Tweed is a thick single ply yarn with a raw structure. 

It is suitable for thick outdoor sweaters, but is also very suitable for home textiles such as throws and cushions, not least when knitted with Silk Mohair. 

Knitted together with Silk Mohair or Alpaca 1, the yarn is very fine for scarves and hats. Although Aran Tweed is only available in a few shades, when knitted together with other yarns it can look as if it exists in many more colours.

Weight / Lenght: 100 gr / 160 m

Recommende needle sizes and gauges:

Aran Tweed alone: 4.5 mm = 14 sts x 20 rows in 10 x 10 cm
Aran Tweed+ Alpaca 1: 5 mm = 13 sts x 18 rows in 10 x 10 cm
Aran Tweed+ Silk Mohair: 5.5 mm = 13 sts x 16 rows in 10 x 10 cm
